The Simpsons Cape Feare episode is a parody of Cape Feare and is one of my favorite episodes. You can still catch it on http://www.direct.tv TV's premium channels on occasion. If you see it coming up do yourself a favor and record it any way you can.
The plot of this episode started some of the best Simpsons jokes. This is the first episode wherein Sideshow Bob tries to kill Bart Simpson, which was the plot of a myriad of later episodes. The show's script was originally only a few pages, as it was a direct parody of the movie of a similar title. Kelsey Gramme! r stars as Sideshow Bob and many of the jokes in the episode are stretched out to consume more time.
This may seem like a ploy, as many shows like Family Guy do this to avoid writing material, but in the Simpsons case it was hilarious and groundbreaking. Unlike contemporary shows the Simpsons' writers were quite skilled and made some of the funniest jokes to date in this episode. Some of these jokes to consume time include sideshow Bob stepping on a countless number or rakes, which later became a Simpsons staple. One of the best parts of this Episode is where they rerun the opening with the Simpsons as the Thompsons, which is their new witness protection identity they've been assigned.

The Opera
IN 2 weeks me and my boyfried are going to the Metropolitan Opera House in NYC to see Rigoletto. I cannot wait to go and see it I am so excited. The first time I ever went to the Opera house was my junior year in college. My professor took the class to see La Bohem. It was an amazing experience. I have always wanted to go back and see another opera on my own . I loved the performances and I loved the whole opera setting. What I was more excited about was the fact that my boyfriend is also interested in going but he says he going for me. I am not sure yet If I am going to be dressing up for the event. We are going on the week of my birthday which is May 2nd. I will post and update for everyone letting them know how the performance and everything went.

Homemade Italian dressing as the final touch

Even though I'm not Italian, my favorite kind of ethnic food is Italian. I just love all of the rich flavors of cheese and garlic and marinara. It's downright comfort food and I love it! I'm actually having a few of my friends over to my apartment in a few days and I'm going to fix an Italian feast for all of us. It really is the perfect food for this cold weather anyway.
But, with all of this, I want to make sure that I don’t' spend any more money than I have to. I went online to figure out ways that I could cut costs without sacrificing quality of my meal. While I was online doing that, I came across the site www.clearwirelessinternet4g.com and after I looked through it a little bit, I decided to sign up for a satellite internet package that I found on that site.
When I was searching, I found a recipe for Italian dressing that I could make with stuff that I was buying for the meal anyway. So I think I'll give that a try since I'm serving a salad with it and see if it's something worth making in the future.

Does anyone like to Gamble?
Last year I went to Mohegan Sun Casino in Conneticut with my boyfriend. It was really fun because the Casino had so many features and live entertainment. I am not that much of a big gambler but I dont mind betting only a couple of dollars (I'm not that greedy). THe reason for this is because I HATE losing money especially when I dont have it like that. My boyfriend on the other hand loves to gamble even though there is a 50/50 chance he could lose all his money. I guess the only way to deal with going to a casino is going there with a mindset that their is a possibilty that I am going to lose all of my money. I remember when I went with him one time and he spent 500 dollars lost 400 and gaine 3,000. I waas happy for him but I had to basically drag him out of the casion before he lost the whole 3,000.
My aunt has a serious gambling problem as well just like my boyfriend. When me and my family went to go visit her upstate, we went to the casino out there just to check it out. We stayed for a couple of hours but after a while i decided that it was time for me to leave. Me, my brother, and my mother was waiting for my aunt to finnish up but then we realized that one of us would have to go and get her because she will not leave on her own accord. I decided I would go get her and drag her out if I had to. While she was at the machine I told her it was time to go and she was so focused on the machine. It was like she was a zombie or something. Finally she was like ok lets cash out I am ready to go. I cashed out with her the 50 dollars that I won. I spent 5 dollars and won 50 dollars. I acutally needed that 50 to play my phone bill becasue I was fresh out of money at the moment so I decided to stop and not play anymore. Like I said I am not greedy. Well anyway, after we cashed out she told me I would have to talk to her because she is known to hit up a machine on the way out lol. Well I was trying to keep her mind focused but she basically couldnt hold it any longer and decided to bet at a machine that was right next to the exit lol. I coudldnt believe her. Well she bet 20 dollars and lost it with in 2 seconds lol. That is the reason why I quit as soon as I got that 50 dollars because I am not that content with losing money especially 20 dollars. Well after she lost her 20 she was finally ready to go.
Although my aunt lost her 20 dollars, a lot of people in that casion were hitting big. It was like the machines were destined to help people get money for some reason. Now I am not saying that all of the slot machines were lucky and everybody won, but a lot of people were cashing out. You know Now that I think about it, I think I should find out what the name of the casion is. The only way for me to do that is on the website that helps you find casino's in your area and all over. It also helps you look for the type of casino that you would want to go too. Some people only like to go to casions with only slots or slot machines. The Online Casino Edition website is great for searching for the casino of your interest. I personally don't really like casion's with tables because I never win at them.

New Hobby to think about
I have been thinking about taking up planting as a new hobby this spring or this summer. Right now It is waaaaayyyy too cold to even think about going outside and plant anything especially since nothing is going to grow due to the fact that it is winter now. Whenever I go visit my grandmother in Brooklyn, a lady that lives on the 1st floor decided to take some of the dirt located on the other side of the fence and plant fruit and vegetables. I imagined that this would be too hard for her to do because people are careless and mean and would do things to mess up her garden. She is considered to be an outdoor planter which falls in the category of garden planters because she would plant all types of food like lettuce, tomatoes (my favorite), squash, and apples and oranges starting in spring. I asked her one time if she would ever consider planting and growing some flowers. She said that she was thinking about doing that this year around the summer. I can't wait to see the flowers that she starts to grow because she really does a beutiful job gardening. I also am a fan of growing my own vegetables and fruits because it is a lot cheaper as well as healthier. The food that people buy at the super market now adays have a lot of chemicals that are injected into them by manufacturers to keep them looking fresh for people to buy them. My grandmother wquld always tell me that fresh food is better than processed food because the manufacturers load them up with chemicals.
Being that I am not able to plant anything until spring, I am thinking about by some potts and growing some plants in my house with a UV light. I guess until the winter passes I am going to be one of the indoor planters. I think the only problem is trying to find an area or a good enough area to plant and grow some of the plants. I have always been fascinated with orchads and lillies. Although I dont think I will be able to imitate good enough light to grow them but I definately will do my best. I think that if anyone is planning on purchasing any vases or planters to grow flowers, I would visit the website for planters. They have a wide variety of tools and planters that will help enhance the beauty of the flowers as well as the plants. For growing flowers indoors, planters like GEO Vases would really look beautiful. I personally like it because most of my furniture in my living room is the same color brown. I really like the earth tone/ mother nature look for living rooms. For outdoor/indoor planting, window box planters are really beautiful to look at on the outside of windows. A lot of families that live in teh suburbs like to purchase window box planters because it helps enhance the beauty of the house. At this website, they have a lot of beautiful window box planters that are affordable as well as classy
What I like about this site is that the customer can also choose to have their vase or planters custom made to fit their style. A lot of gardners will take comfort in knowing that their is a website that is dedicated to increasing the value of mother nature and the beauty of what god produces on earth and incorporating it into their home or gardens. Hopefully I will be able to choose the right planter to suit my home so that it will enhance the beauty of my home as well. If I decided to start planting outside I might end up purchasing planter beds to help keep the plants organized and stable in one area. I saw a lot of planter beds for cheap on the website . This particular planter bed cost 204.00 online but I know people that have bought a planter bed at a regular store for a smaller size and have payed well over 300 dollars. Personally It is not worth it to buy it at the store.

Where is the cheapest place to shop?
Recently I started doing my shopping online for clothes, shoes, furniture, kitchen ware, even workout equitment. Baiscally shopping online has been the most productive and affordable way to go. What I love about it the most is the fact that I dont have to necessarily come out of my house and drive to the store to go purchase merchandise when I can do it from the comfort of my own home. Some of my favorite places to shop online for clothing would have to be a store called body central. The reason why I have to shop online for body central is beacause the actual store is located in certain cities. I found out about body central this summer when I went on vacation with my friends to Philly. I have to say I am very hard to shop for because I am very pickey. Well when I went to the store I couldn't believe the amount of clothes that I actually liked. Another website that I usually buy from is Rock & Republic. I love it because their motif for about 90% of their clothing is black and white and those are my favorite colors. I feel that as women get older, their style should change with their age in a way. Im not saying that we should all walk around looking like Driving Miss Daisy but it's important that we wear clothing that will represent our age in a way. For example, wearing jordans in highschool is one thing but wearing jordans when you hit a certain age with the lip hanging out after highschool is not cute. Sure we all went through a phase where wearing sneakers with the lip hanging out was cool but as you get older it just starts to get tacky. I am definatelty not against women wearing sneakers. I just think that if we are going to wear sneakers, they should be sneakers that will comliment you in a fashionable and yet elegant way. Like Jay-z said..........On to the Next One.......
Thank GOD that I was able to email my advisor today on my first section of the paper. It basically took me all day trying to get rid of all the editation remarks that my advisor left for me. Hopefully this time the section I handed in will be ok. I am going to get started on the next section tomorrow while I am at work. Hopefully I will have that section completely done by the time school starts back up on the 26th. I am a little anxious to get this paper done and over with so hopefully I will be able to knock this out of the park.
Plans for tomorrow...... well actually let me back up a bit. I think I should explain how my New Years turned out.
January 1st: I fractured my toe at 11:10 pm. That was really shitty and aggrivating I couldnt believe it. I had to wrap my toe in a lot of bandages becasue some of the skin was hanging. (sorry for the details) Well anyway due to the impairment on my toe, I spent New Years in my house watching TV with Ava
January 2nd: I took my grandmother out for lunch at this really nice Italian Resturant called Limoncello's in Goshen NY. I really loved that place the first time I went because it reminded me of a classic and elegant Italian resturant. I ordered Homemade Lasagna and my grandmother ordered some kind of chicken and pasta dish. I think she really enjoyed it because she wiped that plate clean by the time the check came. Well any way, sometimes at Italian resturants the chef will cook the meat using red wine. I never drank before in my life so I never knew how wine tasted even thought it was non alcoholic due to the fire killing the alcohol while cooking. Well anyway it taster different but pretty good. Everything was going really well unitl soon after we left to go shopping, I had an alergic reaction to the wine or something in the Lasagna. It has to be the wine because I love to eat Lasagna and nothing like this has ever happened to me before. I developed red hives all over my body and my skin was so itchy that it felt like it was on fire every time i scratched it. By the night my hands were burning and my neck was really red. I had to sleep with a cold towel around my whole body it was HORRIBLE. By the next day I had no choice but to go to the doctor and he prescribed some benedryll and some other medicine for the next 5 days. OH wait did I mention that during this whole time, my car started to make funny noises.
January 3rd: I wake up and decided to take my car to the mechanic to find out what the hell is going on with my car. The guy that usually does the work on my car was not there because his wife had their 2nd daughter or New Years Eve. Congrats to them by the way!!!! Well anyway, instead I went to his fathers shop to check out my car. To no evail, he was no help at all. He and I both knew that there was something wrong with my belt or timing belt for that matter but he couldnt figure it out unless he took the whole car apart. The noises were starting to get really bad and I just was so aggrivated that I said I will just come back when my usual mechanic comes back on monday. On my way to driving home, I'm starting to get really itch again and the hives are spreading bad and my car end up shutting down 5 minutes away from my house. I waited acouple of minutes to start back up and by the grace of God I was able to park the car infront of my house before it shut off again. By the time I got home the hives were all over my face and my whole body was red. It was the worst. I was like laying on the ground with just a sheet wrapped around me. I couldn's take it anymore so my mom took me to the doctor. Thank GOD for that because he prescribed me some benedryll and some other medicine for 5 days.
When I got back home I was so upset about the car that I couldnt sleep. I decided to go back outside to check out what is going on with my car because it was really bothering me. My friend was outside at the time and came to look under the hood. He saw that my timing belt snapped and was hanging. Even though that sounds horrible, I was releived to finally know what caused the problem.
January 4th: Still taking the Benedryll and it is working wonderful. I feel like I am on cloud 9. I had to get the car towed because you can't run the car when the belt is off. The mechanic took the car and found out that the alternator was bad which means that the car was only running on the battery. He changed the alternator, timing belt, and AC belt. Today sucked because I had to depend on my mom for a ride everywhere and I hate doing that
January 5th: Toe is healing better as the day is going and the hives are going down day by day. Finally got my car back around 5:30 and she was running so smooth. I was so happy because it seemed like everyhting was going back to normal even though the trip to the mechanic cost me 500 bucks! Even though things were starting to get better day by day I was a little aggrivated about the whole senior project paper that I have to start working on. Just the thought of working on that thing was so aggrivating. Well by late in the afternoon I finally got my self ready to work on the paper and finnish some of the editing
January 6th: Due to the fact that I have absolutely no idea as to what really brought on the hives. I have to change my diet and watch what I eat for now on even though I really think it was the wine (but you never know). Basically drowned my self with water to get rid of the hives and startedby healthy food. YES I threw away the ice cream, cookies, chips and everything else that is not good for the health. Besides I have been meaning to do this for a while anyway.
By tonight I was Finally able to email my advisor the 1st section of the paper and move on to the next section. OH GOD please get me through this one.
I hope the next couple of days start to get better and better. LETS GO 2011!!!!

I waited acouple of minutes to start back up and by the grace of God I was able to park the car infront of my house before it shut off again. By the time I got home the hives were all over my face and my whole body was red. It was the worst. I was like laying on the ground with just a sheet wrapped around me. I couldn's take it anymore so my mom took me to the doctor. Thank GOD for that because he prescribed me some benedryll and some other medicine for 5 days.
When I got back home I was so upset about the car that I couldnt sleep. I decided to go back outside to check out what is going on with my car because it was really bothering me. My friend was outside at the time and came to look under the hood. He saw that my timing belt snapped and was hanging. Even though that sounds horrible, I was releived to finally know what caused the problem.
January 4th: Still taking the Benedryll and it is working wonderful. I feel like I am on cloud 9. I had to get the car towed because you can't run the car when the belt is off. The mechanic took the car and found out that the alternator was bad which means that the car was only running on the battery. He changed the alternator, timing belt, and AC belt. Today sucked because I had to depend on my mom for a ride everywhere and I hate doing that
January 5th: Toe is healing better as the day is going and the hives are going down day by day. Finally got my car back around 5:30 and she was running so smooth. I was so happy because it seemed like everyhting was going back to normal even though the trip to the mechanic cost me 500 bucks! Even though things were starting to get better day by day I was a little aggrivated about the whole senior project paper that I have to start working on. Just the thought of working on that thing was so aggrivating. Well by late in the afternoon I finally got my self ready to work on the paper and finnish some of the editing
January 6th: Due to the fact that I have absolutely no idea as to what really brought on the hives. I have to change my diet and watch what I eat for now on even though I really think it was the wine (but you never know). Basically drowned my self with water to get rid of the hives and startedby healthy food. YES I threw away the ice cream, cookies, chips and everything else that is not good for the health. Besides I have been meaning to do this for a while anyway.
By tonight I was Finally able to email my advisor the 1st section of the paper and move on to the next section. OH GOD please get me through this one.
I hope the next couple of days start to get better and better. LETS GO 2011!!!!
